Good Morning Birthday Boy!

Normally on someones Birthday we do a special breakfast in the morning but this year for Nolan we decided to go out and have breakfast at the Deer Valley airport so we could watch the planes land and take off.  We thought that would go perfect with his dusty themed party and he is so into airplanes right now.  Memaw and Asher joined us.  From the moment we walked into the restaurant everything was "dusty, dusty!!"  It is really cute, they have planes hanging all over the ceiling.  This time we got to see lots of planes land and take off.  We had gone here last summer and we hardly saw any traffic.  We learned that most small planes don't have air conditioning so it is too hot to fly here in the summer.

Another singing of "Happy Birthday"!  Nolan loves this and we had been practicing signing it every night for about a month before and then we would practice blowing out the candles.  He did so good and was able to blow them out!

After we went up onto the lookout deck.  The weather was so nice so we just hung out for awhile.   

This was a perfect little celebration for Nolan and it was so fun to watch him get so excited about the planes. :)

He is still my big boy!!!  He has actually gone down in weight percentile a little.  You would not know it from looking at him but in the last 6 months he has become my VERY picky eater.  He used to eat most everything.  He now does not have much he likes and it is so had to get any vegetables in him.  He likes a few fruits so at least I can get something healthy in him.  :)
Still loves reading books.
Loves the moon and when it is a moon that is less then half full he calls it a "nana moon" with such excitement!
Takes a good usual 2 hour nap in the afternoon and sleeps great at night.
Is in to everything and always busy and on the go.
Loves to play outside.
Just since turning 2 has a little bit more of an opinion on how he thinks things should go.  :)
Loves planes-they are all Dusty like I said above.
Has noticed and likes trains now too and calls them choo choo.  Really liked going to the Polar express this year.
Loves seeing Christmas lights and shouts out "LIGHTS" so loud when ever he sees them. :) Does the same thing with Christmas Trees right now and will shout out "TREE".
Is saying so much and is now be able to repeat and say most words.

Still needs his Mama to be the one to put him down to bed or nap....love that one!
Has a very special bond with Kaylee.

Love you so much Nolan!  You are the sweetest and cutest little boy and we are so blessed to have you!
