Wishing you a Happy Halloween!

Love, two of the cutest little bugs...Ladybug and Butterfly!
Tons of pictures to catch up on from the last few weeks....hopefully coming soon.  I am afraid that if I don't catch up soon before baby comes it may not happen!  :)
And good news....the last two Halloweens Alexa has had the stomach flu...this year we were all throw up free!

Pumpkin!

I love this time of year, and this year especially I have been enjoying all things pumpkin!  I don't know if it is from being pregnant...or that I am just so ready for fall that it has tasted so good!  Everything from lots of pumpkin bread, pumpkin pancakes, iced pumpkin spiced lattes (decaf of course), to pumpkin milkshakes.  Of course we have had fun decorating and putting out pumpkins and of course pumpkin candles, lotion, and soaps!  Finally in the past week we have had some weather that has started to seem a little more like fall...well at least in AZ.  I mean the lattes are still being ordered iced....but it has been so nice with cooler nights and mornings and we have been able to keep the windows open a little more.  I am soaking it up!

The little felt pumpkins from last year are still a hit this year!

Love the little hidden pumpkin in this one....

Fun with a pumpkin craft

The other morning we made cute little pumpkin faces out of mini chocolate chips on some of our pumpkin pancakes.  Huge hit with the girls!

Fire Fighter Ball

On October 6th Ryan and I got to go to the Fire Fighter Ball.  It was a fun excuse to get dressed up for a date night!

Fun shoes a must...especially when flip flops or bare feet seem to be what is worn lately.  I knew it would be interesting being almost 8 months pregnant and trying to wear these but with my dress not being very fancy, due to extra large prego belly, I had to try and dress it up!

Now another unusual sight around here....just a picture of me.  I know....strange...especially when I try and stay out of them lately. :)  But since I was dressed up and have a whole 0 belly shots taken of me so far this pregnancy, (haven't been very into that),....here you go!  31 weeks at the time:

Happy Birthday Memaw!

Again like always I am a little late....her birthday was Sept 24.  We had gone out to dinner to celebrate the Friday before and then back to our house for cake and ice cream after.  We had fun celebrating with you Memaw!!

I don't know why Ryan looks like he was blowing out her candles here because he really wasn't. :)

Little Helper

These were from about a month ago and Ryan ended up with an unexpected chore.  We were outside and Lex decided she wanted to play in the sand box.  Now with the heat, the sand box had probably not been played in since last May or June.  Well, we opened it up and it was flooded with water and the sand was all black and rotten and smelled horrible.  I guess rain had gotten in there even with the lid on and sat for awhile.  Yuck!  So Ryan had the job of having to scoop out and throw away all the yucky sand and wash everything out....I am sure exactly what he had in mind that afternoon!  It helped he had a cute little helper:

I never got the before picture but that was after Ryan scooped out most of the sand.

Sparkle Bear and Nicolas Bear

Kaylee was Star of the Week about 3 or 4 weeks into school.  Part of being Star of the Week she got to have Sparkle Bear, or Sparky as Kaylee called him, for the weekend.  We were to take pictures and journal about Sparky's adventures.  Then we put together a fun picture collage.  Here are some of the pictures of Kaylee with Sparky:

Friday night dinner out:

A trip to Target!

Breakfast

Sparky even got to go to a Birthday party!

Dinner

A very important tea party:

Of course snuggling every night:

As Star of the Week besides just having Sparkle Bear Kaylee also filled out an All about Me page to tell the class about, got to fill a jar up with something and have the class guess how much is in there...she chose Hershey kisses, got to pick an item and write three clues to try and have the class guess what it is....she chose a sea shell, pick a favorite book for show and tell...she chose Pinkalicious.  Her stuff was set out all week in class and each day she got to tell about something.  On the last day of being star of the week the teacher and class wrote down some reasons of why Kaylee is special:

On to Nicolas Bear....Alexa walked out of school grinning ear to ear the Tuesday after Kaylee had had Sparkle Bear holding her class Nicolas Bear.  It was great timing because Alexa had just witnessed Kaylee having the class bear and now it was her turn to have the class bear.  No writing assignment of the events with Nicolas for the 3 year olds or pictures required, but since Kaylee got to have her picture taken a bunch of times with her bear of course Lex was going to get pictures with hers!

The Nicolas Bear came in a bag with his blanket and a book to read:
