Turning 5 ~ Ladybug style

To create the perfect ladybug birthday party you have to make cute ladybug accessories....

send out cute ladybug invitations....

have a cute ladybug cake for the birthday girl...

have the perfect ladybug outfit.....

and of course one excited Birthday girl!!! Last Saturday we had Kaylee's 5th Birthday party...Ladybug Style

We had the party at the common area in our neighborhood. She is all ready to go over to her party.

Ladybugs this way

Our dessert and drink table

Our food table

Our paint a flower pot station. Each kid got to paint a flower pot and then in their goody bag I included sunflower seeds and dirt for them to plant in their painted pot when they got home.

Our ladybug eating area

had to have ladybug headbands!

Memaw was a HUGE help watching the kids while we set up. My sister was also a HUGE help helping me get everything set up. Also thanks to Ryan and our friend Eric for helping set up and carrying everything heavy! Without all of them I would have never made it on time!!!

waiting for her friends to arrive

This kept everyone really busy!

Lex got in on the jumping fun too!

the happy birthday girl!

We had chick-fil-a nuggets, grapes, veggies, and chips for lunch

Our little ladybug

Our flower pot painters......

Trying to light the candles on the cake. The breeze decided to pick up and it kept blowing out the candles. She just had to pretend blow them out in the end. :)

McKenzie with her cupcake

My wonderful cupcake passer outer!

Silly frosting faces......

She dug right in to the ladybug's head...

She then continued to dig into the ladybug's body. Hey, it is her birthday and her cake! (she did stop after this picture!)

Present time!

One of her friends got her a ladybug pillow pal....how appropriate!

When most of the kids had left Kaylee talked Memaw into joining her in the bounce house. You are such a good sport Memaw!!

Back at the house after the party. Memaw and Auntie were so nice to help us get cleaned up. It was such a fun day and Kaylee loved her party!!
