All ready for the parade. This year we tried out what is called the kiddie parade and actually was on July 4. We have always gone to the main Rodeo Parade that is on the closest Saturday to July 4th. We liked this so much better. Not as crowded, but still a good amount of people, and more geared towards kids, shorter to hold their attention, and it had more candy and easier to get a front spot. Yea! |

After the parade we walked around the craft fair and the girls wanted to climb the courthouse steps. |

Waiting to eat lunch at the PBC. |

Found this of the girls from July of 2011, ages 2 and 5 in about the same spot waiting to eat lunch after the parade. They now both look so grown up. Above is ages 5 and 8! |

Later when we got home we still had time to make our favorite 4th of July cake. Layered pound cake decorated like a flag! |
Happy 4th of July in September everyone!
