Graduation Day!

I really can't believe that we are here!  Where did the year go??  I remember not too long ago I was crying because I could not believe she was starting Kindergarten.  Now we are all done and I don't even want to think about next year and 1st grade!!  On Kaylee's last day we had a Kindergarten graduation and then a   little celebration with cake in her class room.  It was a short day and we were allowed to bring them home after the party, but Kaylee chose to stay until 12:30.  I don't think she wanted to let it go either.  :) Only about 5 or 6 kids stayed and she had a great time just hanging out in the classroom doing "fun stuff" as she said.  So I met her at the bus stop that day for one last ride home.

Memaw came to the graduation with us.

All ready to graduate!

I love the cute little diplomas each kid got.

We will miss you Kindergarten and all the fun you brought this year.  I really wish they could just stay little!

Last walk to the bus.....

....last ride for the 3 year old in her pj's!  Only when you are three :)

....last time watching all the big kids getting on the bus....

....and the last wave to the bus driver.  Well, my camera actually missed the wave since it is getting slower by the day but you get the idea!

This was actually on the second to the last day of school because the last day of school Kaylee was having her little graduation ceremony so I would be driving her.  This was our every morning bus walk.  It used to be Lex in the stroller, then it became her walking, and then her bike when she got it in April....and of course always in her pj's!  We always had to wait until all the kids got on and then she would pull up in front of the door and give the bus driver a big wave.  He was so nice to always say hi to her and wave back.  With Kaylee's new school next year being so close I still don't know if we will have the option for a bus.  I kind of hope so....in the beginning of this year I did not like the idea but now I have gotten so used to the short walk at the end of our street.

End of year party....Hawaiian style!

On the Friday before the last day of school Kaylee's class had a Hawaiian party.  They made crafts, danced to Hawaiian music, and finished off with some pizza.  Kaylee had a great Kindergarten experience and she already misses her class and teacher.  We are so proud of how great she has done this year!  We have a brand new school that is opening even closer to us that Kaylee will go to next year.  We hope she will be just as happy and have as great of an experience in her new school.

All decked out!

We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting baby #3 in December!!  (Hopefully early December with all the Christmas craziness! ;)  I would be happy with late November but since my babies like to cook past the due date I don't think I will be so lucky! )

My Sisters Wedding

Back to April 14th!!  Here are a few pictures from the morning of getting ready.  Luckily these were not erased from my camera or they would have been lost when my computer crashed.  And thanks to Tracee for sending me all the ones from the reception! :)

Now I had to take this picture because of the sponge rollers.  I had the idea of these because I knew with me getting my hair done that morning it would be rushed trying to curl two girls hair.  I didn't even know if anyone would sell these wonderful things from the 80's but Target came through!  These bring back so many memories of my dance days in the 80's.  This was back in the time when us dancers before every competition, show, or recital would make our hair as big as possible with these wonderful pink sponge rollers.  We would roll them the night before or early the next morning and then at show time we would be ready to go!  Ahhh the 80's!  So Kaylee got hers rolled the night before but I knew Lex would rip them all out or not be able to sleep so hers were done first thing that morning.  So here are my lovely models in the rollers.  They thought it was great!

All pretty and ready to go!

This and that....

Wow, so I can't believe it has been over a month since the last time I blogged!!  Now of course feeling crummy, having your computer crash :(, getting through the end of school, and enjoying summer with Kaylee home can all add to the not blogging, but, I really need to be better.  I am feeling so behind I did not even know where to start.  So back to the computer crashing, I also lost a few picture events that make me really sad.  Actually I lost everything since about last Dec or Jan, last time we backed up the pictures, but at least I had blogged most of those events through March so at least I can look back and see the memories there.  The two I am really sad about loosing is all the Easter pics and Alexa's Birthday.  It is so sad to me that I will never have  documented on film the day she turned 3.  At least I had blogged party pictures but the big Birthday stuff of that day is lost. :(  No fun breakfast, the excitement of waking up and seeing the balloons in the kitchen, our movie outing and lunch, presents, her special requested dinner on the red plate, and of course the many times of singing "happy birthday" and the cake.  So sorry Lex!!  My computer crashed so bad they were not able to recover anything.  Luckily I still had some April stuff on my camera that I had not erased so that I was able to re-download.
So because this is kind of a random post just to get started here are a few random pictures:

The girls loving their Star fruit!

Lex loving her new big girl bed and big girl room!  She is so proud of it!

Love my Mother's Day flowers and present Kaylee made for me at school!

These pictures I purposely went outside to take since this was Alexa's favorite Birthday gift and I lost the ones of that day.  She is loving her balance bike!  These are the greatest and so wish we had one for Kaylee.  She rides so fast that she keeps up with Kaylee and on walks around the neighborhood.  She already can balance and glide along really good.  We are just going to skip training wheels with her so it does not undo everything she has learned.  She already says she wants peddles.  As soon as we get Kaylee a new bike, which she is long overdue for, we are just going to lower the seat of that and let her have at it!

One of Kaylee just because she is so cute!

The girls on their way to camp Memaw!  This was Alexa's first trip to camp Memaw.  She had heard the excitement from big sis and was ready!  She was doing great until we got the call at 12:30am that she kept waking up upset and was really warm.  So off Ryan went to pick her up.  Sure enough she had a little fever and then came down with a cold.  Poor thing.  Next time Lex!

Okay, so I feel a little better that I got something done.  Now I only have a million other things to catch up on.  Coming soon....
