Happy 2015!!

We had such a fun New Years Eve this year hanging out with our friends the Fullers!  So often Ryan seems to work both New Years Eve and New Years Day.  It was nice to have him around on New Years Eve so we could have a little party.

We started off that morning with Ryan's sour dough pancakes!  These are so good and such a treat!  My uncle always usually keeps a sour dough starter and has given one to Ryan in the past but at some point he stopped keeping it up.  My uncle said he had a really good batch going so he brought a starter for Ryan when they came out a few weeks ago.  He was right, this one is a good batch and made the best sour dough pancakes!  Ryan will definitely have to keep this starter going.  These are fun because you have to start the prep for the pancake batter the night before.  This is always something we looked forward to in CA.  I grew up always getting these when ever we would visit my Aunt and Uncle.

Then it was time to bundle up and head outside.  I mean bundle up because it was about 39 degrees.  That is COLD for us AZ people.  Ryan had just taken the trash out and noticed to lightest little snow fall.  Too warm to stick but that meant instant outside for everyone.  It was fun and it lasted on and off with rain all day.

Show us your silly!

Later we got ready for our New Years party!
It was fun to do a new years tree this year!  Supposed to take your Christmas ornaments off but with all the ornaments we have that is at least a 2 day project to take them off and pack them all up!  So the balloons, hats, beads, and noise makers went right on top!

The girls were so excited!

Our little tree did get the ornaments off.  I could handle that! :)

Alexa's post from about 4:30 on.  They were not coming until 5:30. :)

Party in full swing and the kids getting some New Years stuff off the tree

They popped balloons to get the little jokes to read inside.  Poor Nolan did not like that part and was sad about the balloons.  We ended blowing some more back up for him.  :)

We did some sparklers and fireworks out front.  That was so fun!

Of course I got blurry pictures

Our friends made it until about 10pm and we did our own little countdown earlier on before the fireworks.  One of our funnest New Years!
