9 Month Update!
Like last month I am closer to the half way point again. :) Each month the photo shoot gets harder and harder! It is just way to exciting to not chew on the sign or try and rumple it up. Love it! The girls are so sweet to try and help get him to look.
At nine months Nolan is:
~Going from crawling to sitting and back to crawling with ease. He still prefers to scoot on his tummy when he wants to get going fast. When he is on carpet he will sometimes go on his knees.
~Starting to try to pull himself up on things. I now see this when I go to get him out of his crib.
Right now the only places he can pull himself up are on his crib, his little piano, and is little basketball hoop. The last two are not very sturdy so I have to be there to catch him or hold the toy steady.
~Loves to crawl right to the cable box and change the channel and pull out all the movies. I see a new TV stand in our future.
~Had his first ear infection right at 9 months. The Dr actually found it at his 9 month appointment. That is thanks to the fun cold we all came down with a few weeks ago. Poor Nolan got it the worst and made for a really un-fun week.
~Saying Mama, Dada, and Nana. Sometimes it still sounds like he says hi.
~Will do "Hi Five", and gave his first wave yesterday to Ryan without me trying to prompt him to do it. So cute!
~Now think he also has an allergy to wheat/gluten. Isn't dairy and soy enough??? He did great with Cheerios for about a month and then I noticed that he was getting really fussy when he had Cheerios. I did many trial days of no cheerios and then a day with cheerios. Never fail on a Cheerio day he would just wake up screaming and miserable. I am praying all the time his allergies go away. The Dr gave us an order to have a blood test done to find out all he is allergic or sensitive to. We are going to wait until closer to a year because it is common for them to get better or grow out of the allergy by a year. In the mean time I am just going to be really careful and not try too much. Found him dairy, soy, and gluten free puffs and a few other snacks. So thankful for that and seems to be doing well with them. Fruits and veggies are great but it is nice to have a few other options for snacks here and there. Tried chicken with him just yesterday and so far so good.
~Loves little finger food and doing great with picking everything up!
~Loves hanging out with his sisters!
~Sporting some crazy morning hair! Love it!!
Nolan is at such a fun age right now. I love play time with him and watching him explore everything around him. Loves when I read him books and sing him songs. Loves peek-a-boo. Poor thing has such a crummy nap schedule with always having to wake him up to get his sisters or take them to dance. Sometimes by the time he falls asleep he is only getting half and hour to an hour twice a day. So not enough. Oh the life of the third! Love you little buddy! I feel so blessed to have you and be your Mama!
