Nathan 11 Months!

Wow, we are here at the 11 month post.  This one is always a little bitter sweet because it is so close to that one year mark.  I will try not to focus on that too much.  Crazy how in the beginning that 11 month mark seems so far away but somehow it suddenly always sneaks up on me.  And now the countdown to 1 year has begun and that last month always goes so fast! :(

Nathan's big, huge milestone is that he is now walking!  At the beginning of May he would maybe just take 1 step and then go down.  Then it got to maybe sometimes we would see two steps but not often.  On May 7th he took his big 5 steps in a row but still would go down to a crawl or mostly walk along the furniture.  From their he just got to where he would do it a little more each day.  On Sat the 14th we noticed that it really seemed to click.  Each day he does better and better and we now have a little walker!  He is pretty right on with Alexa.  I remember she started walking in that week before 11 months too.  New little early walkers are just the cutest thing!  I love how they put their hands up for balance and it is just so cute to see their little body walking all over.  I will have to get it on video soon.

With the huge milestone of walking he has not started saying many new words in the last month.  Still Dada, Mama, for awhile it sounded more like Na na but I have started to hear more Mama again.  I have also heard Hi Mama, and wa wa a few times but that is about it.

He now has 6 teeth.  Two on the bottom and four on top.  Two of the ones on the top finally just popped through last week.

His favorite toys right now are his little people boat that has stacking colored blocks in it, and his crocodile xylophone.

Right now eats quinoa, bananas, pears, broccoli (but can't stand it), and blueberries.  The blueberry trial is just about done and trying to figure out what trial to do next.  So wish I could just give the boy more food.  That has not been fun or easy.  The good news is he seems to be gaining weight so that is good.  I look forward to seeing what he weighs at his next appointment at a year.  We are also going to get him allergy tested before we proceed with any more riskier food right before a year.  Hopefully will just grow out of all the allergies like Nolan.

Nathan is just such a sweet baby and is sooooo loved by all his family!  We are so blessed to have
him with us!

So Nathan has definitely been my easiest baby to take these month pictures with.  For the most part will sit there so nicely and smile.  Doesn't grab for the sign much unless we kind of show it to him.  So night and day from Nolan and Alexa.  I remember Nolan would practically jump off the couch....he would not hold still!.  I remembering being so glad when those were over for him! :)  Nathan in general is pretty good with pictures.  He will often sit and smile for us when the camera or phone comes out.  :)

Kaylee is so good with Nathan and helps out with him so much!  He just adores her too!
