Mortimer Farms

This year we tried out Mortimer Farms to pick out our pumpkins.  We always used to love to go there when it was Young's Farm.  We love how it is a little cooler then in the valley, and you can pick your pumpkins right out of the patch.  It is a little pricey to get in, as they all are, but at least included in the price everyone gets to pick out an 8lb pumpkin to take home.  If you go over the 8lbs it is just an additional 75 cents per pound so not bad at all.  Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do...... hayrides, corn maze, jumpy things, pony rides, rock climbing and all included in the price.

All sporting our orange!

Funny we showed up in the same shirt.  That has happened to us more then one time throughout the years!  Sisters, and good minds think alike!

Nolan having a little trouble with his pumpkin.....
first he (accidentally??) threw it down the hill......

Then he (accidentally??) threw it on the ground

Ooops, poor Buddy wondered why it was now broken...hmmm?

Kaylee wanted to try rock climbing.....turned out harder then it looked!

Alexa and Nolan did the pony ride:

Nolan did so good riding by himself.  Mommy was so happy he held on tight!

Tractor ride

Alexa and Nolan....or better known as "The Middles" around our house.    Those two love to fight, annoy on each other, are overly dramatic, both really active, and full of energy.  All that has coined them the name "The Middles"........

......But they can also be really sweet together and all of a sudden play nicely together.  Go figure!

Poor Kaylee started feeling sick right about now.  She came down with a yucky cold and was sick for about 4 days.  That is why no smiles from her right now.

Bowling in the hay!
