Happy 4th Birthday Kaylee!!

Last Tuesday we celebrated Kaylee's 4th Birthday! She was so excited about her birthday and could not wait to turn 4! She has really gotten into the holiday and birthday thing in the past few months. She has grown up so much in the past year and is such a sweet little girl. Preschool and Ballet class have been so good for her this last year and has really brought her out of her shell. She has become so much more talkative and loves all the new friends she has made! She has been such a great big sister lately and is a wonderful help to Mom. It took her some time to adjust at first, but has now realized it is fun to have a little playmate around the house. :)
On the big day we enjoyed pancakes, presents, the class sang her happy birthday at school, a request of pizza and wings for dinner, and of course cake and ice cream! On Saturday we had her little party.

Happy 9 months Alexa!

On January 9th Alexa turned 9 months old! She is just changing more and more all the time! She is practically walking at this point. I am sure she will be by 10 months at this rate if not before. She has gotten so quick moving herself across the floor and pulling herself up on EVERYTHING!!! She makes me nervous sometimes the way she shows no fear and just goes. She finds anything she can to pull up and walk along. Each day she gets more and more stable. She is such a happy sweet girl and we lover her so much!

Alexa had her Dr appointment on the 11th. She now weighs 19 lbs 3 oz and is 27 3/4 inches long. She has been enjoying trying many new foods that comes with turning 9 months. The doctor said pretty much as long as it is small enough, and she can gum it, she can eat it! We officially converted her out of her car seat carrier last week. She was just getting too big for it at pushing 20 pounds. Her new car seat fits her much better! Moving her out of her car seat and eating more table food makes me realize she is not my little infant anymore. She is getting to be such a big girl and it makes me so sad how fast she is growing. Where has this year gone???

A trip back to 6 months

I forgot I never posted these and they are just too cute not to post! These were taken back when Alexa was 6 months. Kaylee was finally willing to hold Alexa, with an ice cream bribe, so I was able to get a picture of them together. Okay Mindy....please don't be mad. I know I totally cheated on you. They just sucked me in with free pictures and a discount! I was really good and only bought these three. I must give credit to Mindy though for the wonderful Christmas pictures that she took of our family! :) Those are posted above and some on the side bar.

First Movie!

Last Monday we took Kaylee to see her first movie in the Theater!! My sister came over to watch Alexa so we could have that special time just with Kaylee. We saw Princess and the Frog. It was really cute and a good first movie choice. She made it through with no problem. It probably helped having popcorn and an Ice to keep her busy!
