Last night Memaw came over to hang out and take us to Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A is a big favorite around this house! Here is Memaw with her two favorite Grand daughters before we went to dinner.

Bathing Beauties!
At the end of Kaylee's bath we thought it would be fun to put the girls in the tub together. We still give Alexa a bath in her little tub but we thought this would make a good picture op!
Yum yum...Alexa thought she would start drinking the water off of Kaylee's arm. Kaylee thought it was so funny!
All cute and clean!

Sleep....oh sweet sleep!
Okay, so I just have to post this because it makes me sooo excited! Alexa slept for 8 hours last night!!! I was giddy with excitement this morning when I woke up after getting 8 hours of sleep in a row. She went from 12:15 to 8:15. I don't remember the last time I have gotten that much sleep in a row! It was probably some time in the middle of my pregnancy because even towards the end of the pregnancy I was getting up all the time to pee. Sleep....oh sweet sleep! I thought anyone who has had kids will appreciate this.
Happy Father's Day!!

It's Finally Done!!
I was starting to wonder if it would ever get finished. I started working on re-painting the doggy step stool for Kaylee in September of 07. Crazy huh!! This was actually my stool when I was a little girl made for me by my Grandpa. The same Grandpa that made the cradle. It was painted orange and brown and really showed it's age and needed a little update. My goal at the time was to have it done by that Christmas 07, but that obviously did not happen. Then I wanted to just have it done before the hot summer since I was working on it in the garage....and that did not happen. So I figured that once fall came around I would just finish it then and have it to her by Christmas of 08. Well I had gotten pregnant that summer and never felt up to working on it in the fall. I think it was the potty training that finally made me finish it even with a new baby. Kaylee was using another stool to get to the sink and it was always really wobbly. She would always tell me "I want my doggy stool." I finally put the final touch ups on it yesterday and had it for her to use this morning. She was so excited! Here she is all excited on the newly painted stool.
2 Month well check
Here are the stats from Alexa's 2 month Dr appointment yesterday.
11 lbs 15 oz - 75th %
22 1/2 inches- 45th %
I can't believe how big she is getting!! The doctor said everything looked great! Poor thing had to get 4 shots though. Both me and her did not like that. I think it is just as hard on me to watch her get that upset.

I'm 2 months old today!!
Here are some pictures of our sweet baby Alexa at 2 months old!!
At 2 months Alexa still loves to nurse/eat, as you can tell from her cute little chunky legs and chubby cheeks, and she still loves her swing. Thank goodness for the swing. For the past few weeks we have been bringing her swing upstairs to our room at night so we can get some more sleep. We usually are now able to get about 4 1/2 to 5 hours at night between feedings....and for the first time last night we went 6 hours!! I don't want to get too excited that I will get that every night but boy was that wonderful! Alexa has also really started smiling lately and she is such a joy....we love her so much!
