Halloween 2017!!

Sometimes I have to laugh with how far behind I am but I love that I still have this blog to keep track of all our family memories!  Here we are last Halloween day!

T'was the Night Before.....

Halloween!  So it was time for some pumpkin carving!  This is the first year we tried something different.  Normally Ryan would spend hours carving one pumpkin per kid....for kids who were only all about it for about the first 5 minutes of the first pumpkin.  For how disinterested everyone was we decided to change things up.  We just got one big pumpkin to carve....perfect!...and then when we were at the pumpkin farm they all got to pick out a smaller one that we did not carve.  So much easier and took so much less time!  The kids actually enjoyed it more too because they didn't have the long wait until it was finally time to carve "their" pumpkin!

Highlands Fall Festival!

We were so glad that our church brought back the Fall Festival!  This year our family theme was Pirates!!

Hangin With the Boys

The girls and Ryan were out one night so I got to have a night in with just the little boys!  It is so special when I get to have time with just a few of the kids!  We had fun playing outside, making pumpkin bread, and a movie night!  They chose Polar Express!

Nolan's Cast

After a few days in the sling Nolan got his official cast on.  He chose orange for fall and Halloween time!

A donut at home help him to feel a little better!

After about 4 weeks in the cast he got to just wear the brace for about another month!  So much better to be able to take that off for a bath!
