Memorial Day BBQ

On Sunday of Memorial Day weekend we had a little BBQ with my Mom and sister's family.  Ryan was able to capture a few cute pictures of the kids playing in the water.

Mother's Day 2015

I did not personally take any pictures of Mother's Day this year.  Ryan was working so it just did not happen with me taking them. :)  We were able to get the ones done of us at church so we have something to remember the day with.  I was almost 36 weeks when these were taken and looking very pregnant!  Hopefully our little guy will be here next week.  We can't wait to meet him!

Violin recital

A few months ago our friends told us about a free music class they were taking at one of the local churches.  They have music, voice, and violin lessons.  Kaylee really wanted to give it a try so we started violin lessons on Saturday morning.  Alexa did not start violin yet but just did the music class.  A few Saturday's ago they had a little show for the parents on the last class of the school year.  Both girls really want to continue this when they start again next August and Alexa wants to also start taking violin.

After the dance right after we tucked her in Alexa came right back out holding her first lost tooth!  She was so excited and had been waiting for weeks for it to come out!

Father Daughter Dance

On May 8th the girls got to go with Ryan to the Father/Daughter dance at church.  It was so sweet Ryan had thought to get each of the girls a Rose to give to them before the dance.

Girl Scouts Mother's Day Tea

The first Saturday in May we had a Mother's Day tea with the girl scout troop as the final event for the school year.  It was a fun mother/daughter event and we enjoyed tea in fine china tea cups, cute little desserts, sandwiches, fruits, and veggies.  Each Mom and girl had a little plant at their place setting and got to take them home.
