See in there!!!

This post is more for my own memory then actually fun for anyone else. So someday I can look back and laugh at the time when everything was "see in there". They have been doing this for awhile now and I really can't remember who started it, but lately it has become difficult to open a jar, container, get water, milk or juice, vitamin container, yogurt....okay you get the idea, without one of my little darlings saying "see in there". I really don't get it, does the inside of a container of vitamins really look that different then yesterday??? But Ryan and I just kind of go with it because I know this is only a phase that won't last forever, and I am sure we will someday look back and laugh when they are grown up and remember a time of "see in there."

After having to show them my container of yogurt I decided it was time to capture this on film with them doing "see in there" with their yogurt. So here they are showing me their yogurt!

We are going green!

It didn't take long around here for everything to go from red to green. Like I have said before we tend to go from one holiday to the next!

For some reason in the last week this has become the hot spot for people 5 and under to hang out. I guess when you can bring your flashlight, hang out in a REALLY small space, and giggle with your sister in the dark, it has become the fun place to be! I snuck up on them today while in the closet and took their picture.

Ryan's Birthday- A little late!

Ryan's Birthday was on February 4th and we went out to celebrate with Mindy and Jeremy. We had such a great time with our best friends the Culls! We went to a nice dinner and then out for drinks!

What is a donut hole?

Last night before bed we were reading one of Kaylee's Fancy Nancy books and they were talking about donut holes during one part. Kaylee then asked me what a donut hole was. So I said, "you know how a donut is round with a hole in the center, well, a donut hole is the center part." She just kind of looked at me so I said, "you know what a donut is right"? She still just looked at me funny and I thought, Oh No! How does my 5 year old seriously not know what a donut is??!! I have seriously failed as a mother!!! ;) Now if I really think about it I know she has had a donut before. Like maybe when she was 2 or 3 so I am sure she just did not remember. But to fix this huge problem we went here this morning......

....and life was good!

Lex enjoyed sharing one with me.

Then of course to solve the other problem of not knowing what a donut hole is we got some of those good powdered sugar ones to take home.
Mission accomplished!

First Sleepover

Last Friday night Kaylee had her first sleepover away from Mommy and Daddy. She went to Auntie's house! Kaylee was so excited to go and did not get nervous at all. I on the other hand felt sad not having my Kaylee. It was weird only putting one kid to bed that night and having her room being empty. I knew she was in good hands though and having a great time!
