Any other frustrated bloggers?
Is it just me or is anyone else having a horrible time trying to post lately?? After I upload all my pictures, and then write, I will go to post or preview it and most of the wording gets all messed up between the pictures and some pictures line themselves up side by side. Then once I finally get the pictures to not be side by side after editing it like 8 times, the wording will now have a huge gap between pictures and it will not let me close the space. It used to post "as is" the way I put it together the first time. So sorry in the last few blogs the wording is all spaced really far apart between most the pictures. It has become so frustrating and makes a post take about 8 times longer then normal. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem???
Happy 2nd Birthday Lex!!!
Dear Alexa,
I can't believe my sweet little baby is now 2!! I really don't know where the last 2 years have gone. Your fun little spirit has added so much joy and laughter to our house. I am so thankful that God sent you to be with our family. Being "2", just in the last week, has definitely brought on a new chapter with everything "I", or "my do it", stretching your limits, and we love you through it tantrums and all!! (This is something we did not experience so much with big sis at 2). We pray that you continue to grow healthy and strong and we love you so much!!
For Alexa's Birthday last Saturday we had a nice low key day. It turned out to be a very cold rainy day so our plans of going to play in the fountains or the train park did not work out. Instead we started off with a yummy blueberry pancake breakfast and then after got ready and took the girls to play in the bookstore and grab some lunch. After lunch it was naps and then my Mom, sister, and Brandon( my sister's new boyfriend!!!) came over for a little party and dinner. It was a great day just hanging out with family and celebrating our Lex!
She woke up to her fun balloons!
and more balloons to play with!
Her yummy breakfast!
Of course we had to start off singing "Happy Birthday"! We did that many times that day, and started doing that about a week before, and still at bedtime we are getting "Happy Birthday" requests!
She was determined that morning to not give me a smile and I was determined to keep trying all day! :)
Lex loved her balloons! She had also been talking about those pre-birthday. She said she wanted yellow boons. She liked it so much that before getting out of her chair after breakfast she said, "I kiss it" and gave it a big kiss! So sweet!!
All decked out in her birthday gear! At least here she was giving me a happy face even if she was not going to show any teeth!

Spring is here....
and Easter is all around! Right now our house is full of plastic eggs, Easter Little People, Easter books, stuffed bunnies and chickies, and of course we could not forget our Easter soap!
Kaylee was helping me decorate for Easter by putting the little egg ornaments on our little Easter tree. I love to watch her decorate this tree and be so excited because this was mine from when I was little and I still remember decorating this tree. I am so glad my Mom saved it!
My challenge of today....
....was trying to do the grocery shopping with a list that looked like this within one minute of walking into the grocery store...thanks Lex! I guess she thought it would be way more fun looking like a puzzle.
I am sure I looked really silly walking around trying to hold the list together to make sure I did not miss anything. And then Lex kept saying the whole time "Mommy, list broken". Ya thanks! :))
On a javelina watch
Often when we go for a late walk, late as in 7:45-8pm we will see the two very fat javelina (not sure if spelling correct) that seem to patrol our neighborhood. They kind of make me nervous but luckily they run from us when ever we have seen them on our walk. It probably helps that we have a dog that wants to chase them. A few times when I have looked outside from our front window I have seen them right in front of our yard. It doesn't help that we love to feed the birds bread all the time in our front yard, and the latest is feeding the bunnies that roam our neighborhood carrots, hey they are friends with the Easter Bunny so it never hurts to have them put in a good word! :) Kaylee is very scared of the javelina and will want to run right inside. Ryan is always trying to get a good picture without getting too close. So far just pictures that don't turn out but oh well.
Here they are watching them on the corner when the javelina were eating something across the street a little way down. Kaylee had a brave moment before running back in the garage. :)
Ryan was trying to get a good picture just by zooming in but it did not turn out so well. If you click on the picture you might be able to see the two fuzzy images.
Her daily workout
Whenever Daddy is home to help her, Lex loves to do her pull ups or "powups" as she says. She will say "powups, Dada help?" Then we will get good counting practice in while counting the number of reps she does.

Fun Spring Break!
Kaylee has had spring break this past week and we have been keeping very busy with lots of play dates, a park day, the library, a mall shopping/lunch day, all of which not one day I remembered to bring my camera until today, and this morning we met some friends over at the fountains. We were not the only ones with this idea today because it seems that everyone else that was off also showed up. It was so crowded. The kids were almost a little overwhelmed at first with all the people. After some snacks, lunch, and some of the crowd thinning out they were ready to play and had a great time!
Double fisting the water and milk!
