Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day evening spending it with our friends the Studdert family who were in town for a visit!

It can be so frustrating....

...when you spend all this time cleaning up your house in the evening, making sure all the toys are put away, just to get up in the morning to have your living room look like this.....

...and have Alexa's room look like this.....

.....and Kaylee's room look like this...

....those darn leprechauns can be soooo frustrating!
The girls are off to pick up the gold coins and green suckers left behind in the mess.

Then it was time for breakfast. What was on the menu?? Green pancakes and green eggs of course!!! I always think it looks totally gross. Everything tastes really good though!

On Monday morning of this week we had Kaylee ditch school, (hey, she is still only in 4 year old preschool so we can get away with this), and we headed over to the fountains to meet some friends that were in town! We love hanging out with all of you and we wish you did not live so far away!

This was such a big hit with Lex. She has been to the fountains before but not since last summer so this was like all new to her. All week she has been saying "play water" because she wants to go back and play in the water again. I have a feeling we will be there a lot this summer. Last summer was kind of stressful because she would just want to run off. This year she was content staying by the water.
