Peter Piper Night

Last Friday night we did a pizza night out at Peter Piper Pizza.  Ryan had just got home from a wild fire and the kids chose there as a welcome home dinner!

Visit with Fay and Jim

A few weeks ago my Aunt Fay and Uncle Jim came into town for a few days.  We had fun visiting with them and catching up.  We managed to get a few pictures the last night they were here.

Olympic Fun!

In honor of the Olympics, the other night we did Olympic pizza and cake night.  We did this a couple years back for the winter Olympics and we thought it would be fun to do it again.


First I had to recruit some helpers to sort M&M's to make my rings on the cake.  On the morning that we planned to do our olympic pizza and cake night I had full intention of going to the store.  For what ever reason, the crazy of the day, we were running too late and we never made it out the door before naps.  I had full intention of getting fruit to put on the cake for the rings....blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapple, and kiwi.  I thought that would be really good on the cake.  When that didn't happen M&M's just had to do!

Summer Stuff

Nolan has really liked having tents lately for his quiet/nap time.  It has more just become a quiet time anymore as he really won't fall asleep.  We still like to give everyone a break during the middle of the day.

The Boys

Sometimes with life so busy I forget to just take pictures of the kids being kids, or in this case the boys being boys.  I know when the girls were little I was better at this, I think I had a little more time back then!  So here are a few pictures of the boys the other morning:
